*TRIP DEPOSITS: Deposits are required to schedule and hold all guide trips. Advanced deposits for fishing trips on all waters are $100 per day booked. A two day guide trip would require a $200 deposit, etc. Deposits for hunting trips vary, call for information. Deposits can be made by check or money order made out to Simms Outdoors LLC and mailed to the Missouri business address listed at the bottom.

*WHAT IS PROVIDED:  Equipment provided for FISHING TRIPS includes all fishing & boating equipment, tackle, fuel & gear, including boat and motor, gasoline and oil, electronics, batteries, trolling motor, rods, reels, line, leaders and/or other terminal tackle such as hooks, weights, floats, swivels etc., lures and bait, landing nets, unhooking devices and release tools, other miscellaneous tools, ropes, life vests, first aid supplies and all other required safety gear, marine radio and/or cellular phone, etc. Equipment provided for HUNTING TRIPS includes firearms, ammunition, game calls, field dressing saws, knives, etc., and stands and/or blinds when needed.

*WHAT TO BRING: Items to bring on a trip may include fishing or hunting licenses and/or tags, proper clothing, hat, footwear and rain gear for the time of year and weather conditions, sunscreen, scent elimination spray, food and/or drinks for you and your party (restaurants are located on some lakes or near some hunting sites-check with guide), polarized sunglasses, and camera. Although fishing rods, reels and lines are provided, anglers may also bring their own. Anglers can call for recommendations on the proper rods, reels and fishing lines to use from All Star Rods, Pflueger Fishing Tackle, and Shakespeare Fishing Tackle, and the proper polarized sunglass lens shades from Flying Fisherman, for the type of guide trip booked. Although firearms and ammunition are provided, hunters may also use their own. In the case of a bow hunt, hunters are required to provide their own bow, arrows and related items. Hunters will receive recommendations on the proper concealment patterns to use from Real Tree Camouflage and any necessary steps to eliminate scent from clothing items prior to the hunt.
